THREATENED AND ENDANGERED SPECIES
Wetland Delineations and Characterizations. Delineation and characterization of wetlands areas on numerous project sites, to comply with both state and federal regulations. Proficient in field vegetation identification, soil horizon classification, infrared (color and B&W) photography interpretation, and delineation of complex and transition zone wetlands. Recognized by USACE for winter wetland delineations. Design of erosion and sedimentation measures during development adjacent to regulated wetlands. Negotiate with state and federal regulatory agencies regarding RTE studies and property development issues including avoidance, minimization, and mitigation.
UNDERWATER ASSESSMENTS (Mussels)
Underwater Habitat Assessments. Conduct underwater habitat assessment for underwater RTE species of concern by a Certified Master Diver.
ECOLOGICAL RISK ASSESSMENTS
Ecological Risk Assessments & Natural Resources Inventory. Determination of long and short-term impact to sensitive natural resources from proposed projects. Negotiate with state and federal regulatory agencies.
